Description

Spread: Transmission is a turn-based strategy board game for up to eight players. Players compete on a large selection of maps, charging cells to claim them while fully charged cells will spread and take over adjacent cells. The game ends when there is only one player remaining on the board. With the customizable game modes there are countless ways to enjoy the game, as a small change to the rules can majorly impact the strategy and flow of the game.

History

Development of Spread: Transmission started out in 2021 as a proof-of-concept and only included the core gameplay loop. In the beginning a lot of time was spent to refine the core experience and feeling of the game. Over time the game acquired its artsy, relaxing feeling and the tropical island setting. Also, during this period various interesting levels were created introducing their own gameplay concepts and strategy. Today the game also features "Labs", a series of small game modes players can freely mix and customize to create their own unique playing experience.
